Indonesia completed the tender offer for its eight dollar bonds. The results of the tender offer are given below:
Indonesia will not accept any of the $1bn 2.95% 2023s, $2bn 5.875% 2024s, $2bn 4.125% 2025s and $2.25bn 4.75% 2026s which were initially part of the offer. Indonesia purchased the bonds on a pro rata basis as the tender offer was capped at $1.25bn, the amount they raised on September 13 to fund the tender offer. Settlement of the bonds is expected tomorrow. The nation’s buyback of dollar bonds was the first by a South-east Asian sovereign, as per Business Times.
