BondbloX, regulated by the MAS as an RMO, is the world’s first fractional bond exchange. Our mission is to bring transparency to the bond markets using emergent technologies. Our global headquarters is in Singapore, with offices in India and Mexico. We are hiring an experienced KYC Officer to build out the client onboarding function.

You will be a senior member of the team and responsible for managing the entire client onboarding function, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and policies adhered to. The role is a growth track role and suitable candidates will be able to take on additional responsibilities beyond KYC. Compensation will be in line with the market.

Your Role :

Building-out the client due diligence and anti-money laundering process, with best-in-class processes and procedures.
Plan, develop, implement, and direct the KYC function end-to-end, to facilitate an efficient onboarding journey.
Ensure files are delivered and maintained to the highest standard.
Effectively communicate with internal management, Sales, Operations and Compliance, escalating issues in a timely manner as required.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

At least 5 years of experience in a similar due diligence/KYC role, preferably from a reputable bank, broker, or asset manager.
In-depth familiarity with the AML/CFT/sanctions regulations, procedures and best practices in Singapore. Knowledge of AML/CFT/sanctions regulations, procedures and best practices in other jurisdictions will be a bonus.
Ability to work independently as a subject matter expert.
Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking will be an added bonus for interaction with non-English speaking customers.
